To hang a Sequin Wall, first, ensure your pipe and drape stand is securely set up. Then, use cable ties to fasten the top row of sequin panels to the upper horizontal bar. Ensure that this top row of panels is positioned slightly above the horizontal bar to conceal the pipe and drape. For additional guidance, check out our detailed blog post here.

Shimmerclick Panels: 13 ¹/₈" W x 13 ¹/₈" H (333mm x 333mm). This equates to x9 panels for 128 ³/₈ square feet (9x per m²).

Standard Panels: 9 ³/₄^" W x 9 ³/₄^" H (248x248mm). This equates to x16 panels to fill 128 ³/₈ square feet (16x per m²).

We offer a range of sequin sizes to suit various needs:

1. Standard 30mm (1⅜") sequins:
- Crafted from specially developed PET or PVC metallized foil.
- Compatible with our ShimmerClick panels.
- Ideal for single colour, patterned, or simple shimmer wall displays.

2. Micro 15mm (⅝") diameter sequins:
- Made from specially developed PET or PVC metallized foil.
- Perfect for creating finely detailed logos or artwork using sequins.
- Designed for use with our S15 sequin panels.
- Preferred by luxury brands for visual merchandising.

3. 100mm (3⅘") large format sequins:
- Crafted from lightweight acrylic or anodized aluminium.
- Available in various formats, typically squares or diamonds, cut by lazer.

Unfortunately not. Our sequins are specially designed to hang on the posts of our proprietary boards. The teardrop hole ensures they do not fall off even in high winds if placed outside.

There is no physical difference between our black and transparent boards apart from colour.​We make 2 standard options available to you as they give you the ability to create a completely different visual look. Black boards silhouette lighter sequins well, making the colour of the sequins stand our more, whilst also darkening your wall in general. Transparent boards allow you to use a contrasting colour on the wall behind the sequins which, if the colour is similar (or contrasting) to the colour of your sequins, can give a really beautiful effect. We also paint or injection mould boards to your exact Pantone or RAL colour for a modest additional charge. Gold sequins on gold boards or silver sequins on silver boards are a particularly popular request.

If you intend to place your sequin wall outside or in direct sunlight where UV radiation may pose a concern, please contact us directly to discuss your specific requirements. We can advise you on the appropriate sequin foil for your project.

For the majority of our colours, outdoor installation is typically not an issue. However, it's essential to communicate with us so we can fully comprehend your installation needs and ensure the correct UV-tolerant product is selected.

Our boards/tiles are crafted using a robust automotive-grade UV-tolerant polycarbonate manufactured by polymer experts Beyer Makrolon. This material is resilient enough to withstand extreme temperatures and common installation conditions. Our boards are engineered to securely hold each sequin in place, even in windy conditions, and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

While most of our standard sequins have undergone scientific testing in outdoor and UV-light simulated conditions with favourable results, certain colours may require specific ordering and specification with UV inhibitors in our inks to prevent bleaching after prolonged exposure to UV/sunlight. Therefore, it's crucial to consult with us first if you're considering a long-term outdoor installation.

Using a fan to generate air movement can truly bring your Sequin Wall to life. Unless situated outdoors, the experience simply isn't the same without a fan to animate it and attract attention!

We frequently receive inquiries about the best fan to use for optimal results. The "best" outcome depends entirely on the desired effect you or your client wish to achieve. Most fans offer 2 or 3 levels of airflow, allowing for adjustments on-site during installation. We highly recommend conducting a dry run beforehand with a single Sequin Wall panel to gauge the effect.

If your Sequin Wall features a focal point such as a logo or symbol, we typically recommend using a single fan directed at the centre of the focal point to accentuate it further. The sequins will then ripple outwards from this central point.

A single fan should suffice for a wall measuring up to approximately 10' x 10'. For larger walls or those with a plain colour scheme, multiple fans can be employed effectively. However, we advise adjusting the airflow setting to prevent multiple "hot" spots on the wall, which could detract from its beauty.

Surprisingly, small fans positioned around 4 feet from your wall can be quite effective. A typical fan that has proven successful for our clients can be found here. There are many similar alternatives available; just ensure you carefully consider their power source. Some fans are USB-powered, allowing for temporary usage with a USB Power Bank in situations where mains power is unavailable. An ideal fan for positioning further away (between 6' and 20') is something like the Honeywell HT900, which is reasonably quiet and only 11" in diameter.

For extensive installations, we can provide industrial-quality fan solutions made to order. These can also be track-mounted, attaching to existing lighting tracks. However, the low-cost fans available at outlets like Amazon have proven to be surprisingly effective and long-lasting for many installations worldwide.

​We offer a choice between two panel colours: black or transparent. Additionally, we provide the option for custom painting to match any Pantone or RAL colour, for a small additional fee.

2. Contact us directly via phone or email at with your design specifications, and we'll guide you through the design and ordering process. We'll handle every aspect, from design to delivery, ensuring you receive fully populated boards directly to your doorstep.

Yes, we do have specialised software developed in-house to streamline the process of converting your designs into sequin walls efficiently. However, we currently only use this software internally. We upload your image into the software to pixelate it for your approval, and we also utilise it to generate planograms for our workshop staff to follow when populating your sequin boards.

If you're interested in personally populating sequins onto boards, we can provide you with the planograms as PDFs. These documents outline where each sequin colour should be placed on each board, facilitating the process for you.

Our software accommodates the most common image file extensions, including .jpg, .png, and .tif. If your image is in a format not supported by our system, we will usually find a solution to convert it for processing.

A planogram is a pixelated PDF plan of your design that provides essential information, including instructions on assembling your panels in the correct order, along with a comprehensive visual representation of your wall.
This will be sent to you after your order has been confirmed to aid in the installation of your Shimmer Wall.

If you're considering assembling a Shimmerwall sequin by hand, the time required varies based on factors like sequin size, colours used, and design complexity. Standard 30mm (⅝") sequins are quicker, taking about 1 hour per m² for plain colours. Each m² requires 16 boards. Smaller 15mm (1⅘") sequins, ideal for detailed designs, take approximately 8 hours per m².

Absolutely! You can easily reuse your panels by ordering the additional sequins you require and re-populating them yourself. Our sequins are designed to be removable from the panels, allowing for easy swapping, and the boards can be reused without any hassle.

Certainly! This is the preferred choice for most of our customers. Our standard lead time is 7-10 days, but we've often delivered large orders in just a few days to North America, Europe and Asia.
