Shimmerwalls achieved a monumental milestone with its latest project for Jelmoli, Switzerland's biggest premium department store, nestled in the heart of Zurich. Shimmerwalls was commissioned to cover the entire building in our Dark Gold, 30mm sequins, covering over 900m² of the building's facade. This endeavor, the largest Shimmerwall ever constructed, required the production of more than 10,000 sequin panels, a testament to our capacity to undertake and deliver vast projects with precision and timeliness.
Under the visionary guidance of the renowned creative director, Petros Ahreas, the sequin wall sparkled with our Dark Gold 30mm sequins, casting a mesmerizing glow that transformed the Jelmoli building into a landmark of luminous luxury. The use of Shimmerwalls' patented Shimmerclick technology enabled the panels to interlock seamlessly, ensuring a robust modular structure capable of withstanding Switzerland's harsh winter conditions. This innovative design not only exemplified the durability of our panels but also allowed for natural light to permeate the store, thanks to the strategic choice of circle sequins that lets daylight filter through their gaps.
In addition to the building's facade, Shimmerwalls supplied sequin panels for 32 window displays throughout Jelmoli, enhancing the retail experience with a dynamic play of light and shadow that captivated onlookers and invited them into a world of festive elegance.
